In our ongoing commitment to developing our own market segments and to reward the loyalty of our Returning Guests, we are offering incentives and bonuses to Interline Personnel, Travel Agency and Tour Operators, Real Estate Business Personnel, Returning Guests among many others.
Guests from these market Segments, once registered with THR, are entitled to receive special room rates and value added offers, as are their friends and family members.
To tie in with this and as part of our 50 Years Anniversary Celebration, we are offering fabulous Complimentary Nights Stay Prizes at our hotels and resorts to be won by our registered guests from the aforementioned market segments in the form of Prizedraw Competitions.
And from this idea, the ‘Thavorn Prizedraw Cocktail Reception’ was born.
On the 1st September 2010, we held our second ‘Thavorn PrizeDraw Cocktail Reception’ at our Thavorn Palm Beach Resort in Karon Beach. This month, it was our special ‘Interline Night’ and we were delighted to welcome our esteemed friends and colleagues from the airlines here in Phuket to join us.
The evening began with guests enjoying drinks with the Thavorn Management and our host of International Students, to the accompaniment of a wonderful acoustic set from our band for the evening, ‘The Songbird Band’.
Guests were invited to enter their name for our special prize draw competition with a fabulous 5 Complimentary Nights Stay at our Thavorn Palm Beach Resort to be won. In what has become a favourite tradition of our prizedraw receptions, guests were also invited to leave a message on our specially prepared ‘guest wall’ .
After the short welcoming speeches, guests enjoyed drinks and a sumptuous buffet and BBQ prepared by the chefs at Thavorn Palm Beach Resort.
Guests were then invited to help draw the prizes in our two Prizedraw Competitions of the evening, those for Interline Personnel and Returning Guests, who had all previously registered online with THR via our website.
Thavorn Management were called to the stage to draw special prizes for our guests on the night, and in the final draw of the night, the GM of Thavorn Beach Village and Spa joined the MC’s on the stage to draw the prize for the fabulous 5 Complimentary Nights Stay at our Thavorn Palm Beach Resort.
In an unexpected twist, two golden envelopes were mysteriously placed on the stage, much to the delight of 2 of our lucky guests on the night, whose names were then drawn out for 2 very special bonus prizes. These 2 spectacular prizes of a 14 night stay in our Banburi Sweet at Thavorn Palm Beach Resort and a 14 Night stay in an Ocean View Suite at Thavorn Beach Vilage and Spa ensured the prizedraw ceremony ended amidst scenes of celebration and rapturous applause.
Guests and Thavorn Management then posed for group photograph opportunities and more documentary style video, before ‘The Songbird Band were welcomed back to the stage to perform a rousing Electric Dance set.
Our ‘Special Interline Night’ was a thoroughly enjoyable evening for all those who attended as is illustrated in our photo gallery below.
