Thavorn Hotels and Resorts have participated in annual Thailand Travel Mart Plus 2007 held in Bangkok from 6 to 10 June, 2007.

Thailand Travel Mart has been hosted by Tourism Authority of Thailand and Thai Tourism Industry since 2001. Each year witnesses steady growing interest to the event which promotes both Thailand and its neighbouring countries. This year TTM+2007 run together with Thailand Tourism Festival 2007, this made it the biggest event ever held in the country.

The exhibition is valuable for professionals of Tourist industry as well as for potential customers. Almost 400 sellers from Thailand and neighbouring countries participated in the TTM+ 2007: hotels, airline companies, ecotourism and adventure operators, tour operators and medical & health tourism facilities. About 350 invited buyers from key and emerging markets had an opportunity to get information about products and services it Thailand as well as in the Greater Mekong Subregion – Myanmar, Cambodia, Lao PDR., Vietnam and China (Yunnan Province).

The official programme started in the evening on 6 June, 2007 with a Welcome Reception at Siam Paragon, a newly-opened shopping and entertainment centre. The business functions were held on 7 – 8 June 2007 at the Challenger 3, Impact Muang Thong Thani Exhibition Centre, the one of the world’s largest exhibition halls and Thailand’s largest ballroom.
